Outdoor Classroom
Experience Rocky Mountain National Park’s outdoor classroom with your students on a self-guided or ranger-led field trip! Check out our online resources on how to lead a self-guided field trip, including activity sheets, safety information, a list of places to visit, and instructions for reserving a welcome talk and group use at a visitor center. Schedule a ranger-led field trip to explore topics aligned with state standards through a fun, hands-on experience in small groups with a ranger. Field trips are free and offered January – November, with snowshoes provided during winter programs. Special-request programs for non-school groups are also offered on a case-by-case basis.
