Enjoy the Outdoors on an Adaptive Bike
RAD is focused on broadening opportunities for our visitors who experience disabilities. Jefferson County Open Space has purchased two adaptive bikes, which will be available to reserve in our parks. The RAD program will be supported by staff members and volunteers who will facilitate bike rides along with ensuring the safety of all participants. In addition to acquiring two adaptive bikes we are also attempting to purchase several track chairs, which will be housed at Beaver Ranch Park.
