Mobile Phone Location Data to Support Vision
As part of our Conservation and Recreation Vision process we acquired visitor mobile phone location data for 70 hot spots in the NoCo region. This allows us to understand more about what is happening in many of the most heavily recreated areas in the region and identify the high priority needs of the region. The data available includes visitor origins, demographics, cross visitation, trends over time, dwell time, and park use.
